HOT Clearance Deals

I went to Walmart this morning and found a couple super hot deals in the Christmas clearance!

The first deal I found were on the Justice League Gillette razor and shaving cream sets. They are regularly $9.88 and were on clearance 50% off making them $4.94 PLUS I had an Ibotta rebate for $2 off and Justice League Gillette razor set making them $2.94 each! The Ibotta rebate can be redeemed up to 5 times.

The next deal was on the Quaker instant oatmeal in the Gingerbread Spice flavor. It is in an 8 count box on clearance for $2 and I had an innocent rebate for $1 off one Quaker instant oatmeal in the Gingerbread Spice flavor that could be redeemed up to 5 times. I got five boxes and after rebates were $1 each box!!!

I also had an Ibotta challenge that required me to redeem 2 rebates and I would get a $2 bonus. With these 7 items I paid $19.88 and I got back $11 making my total $8.88 for 2 razor sweets and 5 boxes of oatmeal!

If you would like to join Ibotta and get these awesome deals you will get a $10 bonus when you redeem your first rebate using my code: genmojr or go to  https://ibotta.com/r/genmojr to get signed up. If you are new to Ibotta and do these deals it could be a money maker for you!

Let me know if you will be doing this deal it if you find any other HOT deals.

December Goals

I am going to be listing my December goals and how I’m going to accomplish it this month. First an update on how I did on my goals last month…not terrible but not great.

I did start the meal planning shopping our freezer and pantry first but we did still eat out quite a bit and ordered a couple times. Part of the eating out was I picked up extra hours at work and had my husband grab dinner for us both to enjoy on my lunch break.

My water intake didn’t improve much at all, but I did drink at least one bottle 90% of the month. There were probably six days I drank two bottles and four days I drank three bottles.

Blog posts…I barely made the five posts in the month of November. I will keep trying to improve on this, I would like to get up to two posts per week but as  busy as life has been lately I don’t know if that will happen.

My December goals are going to be pretty similar as last month and hopefully I can keep progressing.

Meal Planning
I will do my best to keep preparing meals for the week. I am going to be away from home for a week this month so I not expecting to do too great on this one. Christmas is coming up very fast as well, and with that comes lots of leftovers and other meals to be made out of the leftovers. This will help with food costs going into the new year.

Water Intake
I am going to drop my goal down to two bottles a day since I was WAY off last month with my goal of three.

Blog Posts
I am going to up my monthly blog post goal up to six posts this month. Although I will be away from home I will still have my laptop and will be posting when I have the time. I will be doing a Christmas Tradition post similar to my Thanksgiving one. I will compare the traditions from when I was a kid and now as an adult.

More Communication
I really want to start interacting with all of you as my readers throughout the next few months. I know a lot of that will depend on how intriguing my posts are.  (Any tips are welcome). I know several of you have emailed me personally and I love that you let me know what you like, I am all about the corrective criticism, I welcome it all!

What are your goals for December? I would love to hear what you are trying to accomplish this month as well. Let me know below in the comments!
